The Sola Seaplane Port, Sola Sjø. History bites itself in the tail. Here the first domestic flight with the aircraft "Havørn" (Sea Eagle) landet in 1935, two years before The Official Opening of Stavanger Int. Airport, Sola, and even more impressive, 10 years before Sørlandsbanen (Our Southern Norwegian Railway Track) was built. And ... onboard one of the trains on Sørlandsbanen I, in 1990 met a very pleasant lady indeed ! Mrs. Solveig Skreiberg (Fru Disponent Skreiberg), whom, was the first Woman to fly as a passenger in Norway, and was onboard the very first flight of "Havørn" in 1935. She sent me articles depicting the news coverage of the first flight. Her and Her Husband where just inbound from America with N.A.L (Norwegian America Line to Oslo, in addition I of course got to hear her very interesting first hand account of the first flight, which, in itself was very fascinating indeed. She, in fact, in the letter she wrote to me together with the articles wished me luck with my 'writing work', interestingly enough I can't recall me revealing any such plan, until it now, becomes a part of STP. This in fact adds up, with a number of unexplainable events which took and still are taking place regarding The Establishment and work governing STP.
So Lieutenant Widerøe is playing around with a Wacco-plane to test out if Radio Communication is possible along the coastline (He alter established the airline Wideroe, today still an important part of Norwegian Aviation) - his first aircraft was already green when he bought it, he didn't repaint it, and Wideroe today still keeps up the green livery, so seldomly seen on aircraft. His daughter, was in fact, the person whom drew the aircraft designs later used for a long period.
