M/S "Finnmarken"

Var fra begynnelsen av prosjektet skipet som bære mye klassisisk tidløs eleganse, hennes søster, som også ble levert i 2002, M/S "Trollfjord", skulle være den mystiske og utradisjonelle. STP-besøkte fartøyet på sin jomfruseilas til Stavanger (Kort forklart om hurtigruten på engelsk like nedenfor).

M/S "Finnmarken" together with, M/S "Trollfjord" where the two new ships entered into Coastal Services this year. From the startoff it was decided M/S "Finnmarken" was to be the classice legeant, timeless ship. While her sister, the M/S "Trollfjord" would become the mystical more adventorous ship of the Line. The Norwegian Coastal Service "Hurtigruten" operates 11-12 ships in service at all times, the ships run their usual route from Bergen in the South to Kirkenes in Northern Norway. The ships have a lengthy and demanding route, summer-time every day, wintertime nearly every day operating two arrivals and departures in each city along the coastline, each ship operating 10 day services Bergen-Kirkenes-Bergen, constantly, with only hours between the next roundtrip. In winter-season and on quite a grand scale Hurtigruten also operates out of Stavanger and other cities, for ad-hoc and planned theamed voages.
