Tatt fra avstand med telelinse så er dette et interessant foto. Like før M/S
"Draupner"'s første ankomst Stavanger, etter hennes installasjon av et mer
sofistikert redningsarrangement så kunne to andre katamaraner skimtes i
horrisonten. Det viste seg å være Torghatten Trafikkselskaps (TTS's) to nye
katamaraner for operasjon utfra Stavanger. Den ene av dem, M/S "Vindafjord"
kan her sees idet hun snur seg, sannsynligvis slik at mannskapet kan ta M/S
"Draupner" nærmere i skue. På den andre siden utfor bildet, til venstre for
M/S "Draupner" seiler TTS's M/S "Strandafjord". Minutter senere klappet M/S
"Strandafjord" til kai ved Linje 2 og M/S "Draupner" måtte navigere
forsiktig forbi henne når hun la til kai ved Linje 1. M/S "Vindafjord"
seilte til fjernleie etter å ha blinket landingslysene ved
Fiskepirterminalen (Like foran mitt kamera). M/S "Vindafjord" og M/S
"Strandafjord" tok følge med M/S "Draupner" fra Leirvik på Stord, på M/S
"Draupner"'s første seiling med sitt nyesteredningsarrangement. M/S "Strandafjord" og M/S "Vindafjord" hadde sin første dag i passasjertrafikk morgenen etter. |

a distance with telelense, this is an interesting image, right before M/S
"Draupner"'s arriaval two other vessels where to be seen in the horizon,
they where the two new vessels of TTS (Torghatten Trafikkselskap) wich came
for the first time to their operational hub in Stavanger, they'd just been
equipped and undergone testing of their safety equipement at Leirvik, Stord
and had co-sailed with the M/S "Draupner" enroute Stavanger. Here the M/S
"Vindafjord" has turned slightly towards the M/S "Draupner", the crew
probarbly viewing her, on the left side of her, M/S "Vindafjord"'s
sistership, the M/S "Strandafjord" is doiing the same (outside the picture).
Minutes later M/S "Strandafjord" docked and the M/S "Draupner" had some
carefull navigation into Line 1, having to slide in front of M/S
"Strandafjord". M/S "Vindafjord" only viewed the terminal, flashing her
lights before remote docking for the night (and the two sisteship's first
day of passenger operation following the next morning).
