HSC "Vindafjord" ved Torghattens mest brukte fjernleie (Flaggrutens hovedliggeplass ved den gamle Hurtigbåtterminalen).

HSC "Vindafjord" remote berthing, on the pier previously used as main pier by Flaggruten at The Old High Speed boat Terminal in Stavanger.

M/S "Vindafjord". Båten ble sammen med søsterbygget M/S "Strandafjord" bygget som nybygg, spesielt tilpasset de anbud Torghatten Trafikkselskap (TTS) vant i Ryfylkebassenget.

Båtene er skreddersydd anbudskravene, med bla. 180 passasjerers kapasitet og servicehastighet på 30 knop.

 

   M/S "Vindafjord" . The boat was bulit with her co-sailing sister, The M/S "Strandafjord", brand new and tailor-made the bid for tendering Toghatten Trafikkselskap (TTS) won in The Fjords of The Stavanger Region, to be more precise the Ryfylke-Fjords, featuring the required capacity of 180 passengers and required service speed of 30 knots exactely.

 

Fotoet ovenfor og nedenfor viser M/S "Vindafjord"s første bekjnetskap med STavanger og Fiskepirterminalen. Fartøyet ankom sammen med Sitt Søsterskip M/S "Strandafjord" seilende sammen med HSD Flaggrutens M/S "Draupner" (Som samme dag seilte første seiling etter opplag). Etter å ha blinket med landingslysene, signaliserte og kretset rundt terminalen før Hun la seg ved Torghattens Fjernleie.

The photo above and below depicts M/S "Vindafjord" on her first aquaintance with Stavanger, arriaving toghether with Her Sistership M/S "Strandafjord" and HSD Flaggrutens M/S "Draupner" (Wich the same day was reentering service after rewamp). She flashed her landing lights and signaled as she sailed around The Waters of Fiskepirterminalen before landing at Torghattens Remote berthing line.
